Calicut as a creative brief
Turn a local observation into an original fashion story.

Start with a detail you can observe yourself: a colour, a texture, a material, an everyday route or a way people dress. Explain what interests you, then decide how to express it through a small styling study, photograph, illustration, written feature or process-led project. Get permission where needed, credit the people involved and avoid treating a community as a stereotype. You do not need a large production or new equipment to communicate a clear idea. The Calicut Story Lab offers an optional learning route; it is separate from an awards nomination or public competition.
